MISSION STATEMENT
~ Pre-school Ministry works to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young child.
~ To help each child develop spiritual sensitivity through life experience at the time when the religious doctrinal approach can have little or no meaning.
~ To see that the faith of each child is brought to consciousness in the environment of faithful Christian heritage.
VISION STATEMENT
~Our vision is to allow a faith-maturing process to occurr within our Pre-School Ministry~
We believe it is necessary to respect our pre-school students as “little people”, who are moving from dependence to independence in the learning process.
We have also recognized that we are all co-seekers and co-learners in the learning process.
We believe our program will:
Challenge our Pre-School R.E.P.students
Stimulate their abilities as they move forward.
Provide the opportunity to grow within themselves spiritually and socially in their faith and heritage.
PRE-SCHOOL MINISTRY
This is where many of us come into the picture of ministry as it grows and expands in the church. We are responding to our baptismal call to share out gifts and talents. We have chosen to direct our gifts and talents toward our pre-school; we have chosen to do the work in the mission of the church in the form of ministry in pre-school. IT IS GOOD THAT THIS MINISTRY IS HERE!
DEFINING MINISTRY
~All believers, through Baptism and Faith, are called to the mission and ministry of the church~
The mission of the church is threefold:
- To proclaim the good news of salvation.
- To offer itself as a group of people transformed by the Spirit into a community of faith, hope and love.
- To bring God’s word and love to others through service in individual and age appropriate programming.
“Ministry is the activity of the Church/Parish as it is carried out by all members at every level and under the inspiration of the Spirit.” Ministry means the ongoing attempt to encourage the development of one’s search for God. As we partner along with your support, it is our endeavor to encourage our Pre-School in these various dimensions.
“Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it” Mark10:15
